Kimun Biotec has a Collaborative Work and Project Development Conventions with Advanced Research Centres at National and International Level (Universidad de Concepción, Universidad del Bío-Bío, INIA, CORFO, SAG, Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC)).
Development
At Kimun Biotec we are constantly researching for the development of new products from plant species present in the chilean territory, we are currently executing a project related to the elaboration of a “Functional Shot” from Palo Negro to ease its consumption and massification thanks to its Hypoglycaemic and antioxidant effect. This project is being executed financed by CORFO Chile.
Innovation
One of the principles of Kimun Biotec is the constant application of innovation for extraction and purification processes of functional ingredients and also in the development of new products based on plant species presents in the chilean territory.
Policy
To secure the long-term development of R&D&I, 10% of the total income for year is used to mainteinance the Research, Development and Innovation based on plant species presents in the chilean territory.
